A Home is so much more than a House

Home: The house Marc and I bought as newlyweds. The place we welcomed both of our children, Alexis and Luke, just days after each birth. The place we entertained family and friends and celebrated life’s milestones. It’s where we learned to work together removing popcorn ceilings and dated wallpaper. Where we got the chance to flex our creativity muscles in paint colors, furniture choices, and decor. It’s where my love of nesting developed and spread to my children’s homes, and now yours.
Home Equity: The tool we used when our house grew in value and we could eliminate PMI (private mortgage insurance). The place we found needed cash for a master’s degree and to pay off our car loan. When money was tight, we refinanced for a lower monthly payment. When interest rates were low, we refinanced to take years off our payment schedule. It’s where our financial wealth began to grow.
Home Office: The place Marc started his own video production business. Where Luke started his online guitar coaching program, and the place I brought the classroom when COVID-19 shut down our school. It’s also the place I took my real estate school course work and studied for the licensing exam. It’s where I write my newsletters and conference with educators who dream of buying their first home. It’s where I continue to serve the community of amazing teachers who truly deserve a place to call home.
Come visit me at my home, FirstHomeEd.com, and let’s find a way to get you yours.
All good things,
Diana
