Good News All Around

It feels like it’s been way too long since I sent a newsletter, and I’ve been missing it.  I wanted to share some updates and changes that have been happening in my life and in real estate.

On a personal note, I fought cancer last year. I didn’t spend a lot of time talking about it while I was in the thick of it. I like to share positive events and news and this wasn’t it. But my second post treatment check-up confirmed there is no evidence of cancer! So Yaay! Now I’m sharing.

Positives in my life include my family’s successes in their businesses. My son just returned from a month-long tour of the U.S. and Canada playing guitar with Exmortus, and will leave again in a couple weeks to do it again with Warbringer. This time the tour will extend into summer and all over Europe. My daughter has opened a Teachers Pay Teachers store and is tripling her sales monthly! My son-in-law is continually recognized and promoted within his company of Manscaped. And my husband’s biggest client just came back after a Covid-induced absence of 5 years! We are so fortunate to do the work we love and do it well.

My weeks are filled with engaging and uplifting activities starting with spending Mondays & Tuesdays with my sweet granddaughter. I love that the outside world disappears and my whole focus is on how amazing she is and tending to whatever she needs. On other days, I attend educational meetings at my brokerage, listen to economists, golf with my ladies, and enjoy Aqua Fit classes at the gym. Life is good.

What really prompted me to start writing is that there is good news in real estate. The stars are beginning to align for anyone who has been waiting to buy or sell. Interest rates are now below 7% and have continued to dip for two weeks! The Spring Market is upon us, and more houses are available for purchase. If you or someone you know has been on the sidelines looking for a favorable opening, now is the time! It’s not too early to prepare. For those who need to sell, get the house looking its best. For those who want to buy, get all your ducks in a row.
